This was going to be a huge diatribe about ethics in sport, rising above the travails and strains of constant training, dieting and practice to excel in an activity, and how there are those in sport who take the short cut and circumnavigate the rules to prosper in their chosen field.
But I can't be bothered. I'm too depressed. All I'm going to say is Muttiah Muralitharan (pictured throwing) is a cheat. He throws the ball and therefore cheats.
Bugger, bugger, bugger. I'm off to get a new sport to watch.
